Michael Hansmeyer is an architect who uses algorithmic architecture techniques, generative art mentalities, and CAD software to generate complex structures. He designs processes to generate objects. These columns of milled 1mm ABS plastic layers were exhibited at the 2011 Gwangju Design Biennale. They are eerie in their other-worldliness and are endlessly fascinating.
